Lauren Kelley, Executive Director

Hello! I am Lauren Kelley. I live in Odenville with my husband Laramie and our two beautiful daughters. We are active members of Calvary Baptist Church and I am a graduate of Auburn University. While attending college I had the privilege of working underneath the director at Auburn Christian Academy for several years. After graduation I took a job as an Event Coordinator at The Club in Birmingham. After 5 years I realized that God had a different plan for my life and he led me back to my original passion, childcare. My goal as Director is to provide a safe and loving environment for your child while teaching them the skills they need to start school and sharing the love of Christ with them daily.

Jenna Morgan, Preschool Director

Hi! I’m Jenna Morgan. I am happily married to my wonderful husband Jason. We are members of Calvary Baptist Church and live in Ashville, Alabama with our four girls, Madelynn, Claire, Mary-Ava, and Millie. I attended Jefferson State Community College and also Gadsden State. I have 20 years experience with Early Child Care. As Director my goal is to provide a nurturing environment, a learning environment, but most importantly share Christ love each day with your child. I consider it a blessing and a calling to work here at CLC.

Shelia Parrish, Nursery Teacher

My name is Shelia Parrish, and I am the Nursery teacher at CLC. My husband Jeff and I have been married for 28 years and we have one son Chris who is 24. We are founders and members of Restoration Church in Ragland. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and their parents. My goals are to nurture and love your children and to ensure that they are reaching fundamental milestones while in my class. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

Claire Garrett, Nursery 2 Teacher

Hello!! I am Claire Garrett from Ashville, AL. I am member of Calvary Baptist Church and a current student at Jeff State. I have worked at CLC for the past 3 years as a part time teacher. While at CLC I, I have had the privilege to work with all different age groups and am beyond thrilled to be a nursery teacher! I love watching the babies grow and learn, I hope my classroom becomes a “home away from home” for the children in my care and my prayer is that parents feel at ease each morning leaving their precious babies in my care.

Beth Roberts, Toddler 1 Teacher

I‘m Beth Roberts and I have been married to Johnny Roberts for the past 6 years and we have two precious children. I have lived in Odenville my whole life and love it! We have attended the Church at Bradford Road for 9 years. I absolutely love teaching these sweet kids and watching them learn and thrive!

Angie Collins, Toddler 2 Teacher

My name is Angie Collins and I live in Moody with my wonderful husband James. I have two handsome sons; James Lontae, and James Deontae. I am an active member of Cooper Springs Baptist Church. I have worked in child care for over 20 years and have always loved working with young children and teaching them about Jesus.

Skylar Hano, 2K Teacher

Hi! I am Skylar Hano from Odenville, AL. I am a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was saved when I was 7 years old. I enjoy spending time with my 3 year old niece, Zoe and working with the children’s ministry at St. Clair County Cowboy Church. I have always loved being around children and have loved working at CLC for the past 4 years. After working part time with every age group, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach my own 2K class!

Samantha Loveless, 2K Teacher

Hi! I’m Samantha Loveless! I graduated from Springville High School and currently live in Odenville with my husband, Jeremiah, and our two sweet children. We attend church at Evergreen and my husband and I are both volunteer fire fighters for Friendship Fire Department. I am so glad that God moved me from the medical field and into child care here at CLC. My goal at CLC is to help each child meet their milestones along with learning about God in a loving and caring environment.

Danielle Nix, 3K Teacher

Hey yall! Welcome to 3K! My name is Danielle Nix and I am engaged to my loving and hardworking fiancé Joshua Busby. We live in Odenville with our 3 amazing kiddos. Kason (7), Remington (5), and Jaxson (2). I previously served in the Army Reserves as a medical supply specialist. This is my second year as a 3K teacher and I am beyond blessed to be given the opportunity to work at CLC. I promise to love your children as my own and give them structure and understanding of everyday tasks. I will ensure they reach their milestones and that we worship and praise God daily. Thank you CLC and parents for allowing me to teach and love your precious little gifts from God!

Angel Bailey, 4K Teacher

My Name is Angel Bailey, I was a K3 teacher at the WEE Center in Trussville for seven years. For two years I homeschooled my children and tutored other homeschool children through Classical Conversations and most recently spent the last two years subbing in the St. Clair County School system. I am married to a supportive and loving husband, Robert, and I have 3 beautiful energetic children. Gavin 13, Greyson 11, and Gillian 7! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child throughout this school year. Our program consists of a variety of themes and activities to help your child grow and learn in a loving Christian environment. We will spend our year working on social skills, creativity and cognitive skills. Fine and gross motor skill development will also be a main focus.
